Kline of Bellwood was almost instantly killed on Sunday afternoon at Elinton while assisting in swinging some timbers into place with the aid of a derrick. The men, in charge of Mr. Kline, were installing some timbers in a bridge when he was struck by the boom of the derrick. Mr. Kline was aged 41 years. He formerly lived in Altoona and was married 21 years ago to Miss Bertha Green, by whom he is survived with four children, Irene, Hazel, Alfretta and John Elwood. He is also survived by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Irene States, Mrs. Gertrude Lyons, George and Earl Kline of Philadelphia, Mrs. G. L. Parson, Mrs. C. B. Sharer and Mrs. A. B. Roessing of Pittsburgh. He was a probation member of the Baptist church and of the Odd Fellows lodge at Bellwood, as well as of the railroad brotherhood.
