Klunk died Tuesday, 29th ult., at half-past 2 o'clock at his residence, corner of Eleventh avenue and Fifteenth street. Mr. Klunk was a native of Gettysburg, Pa., and was at one time deputy sheriff of Adams county. From Gettysburg he moved to Houtzdale, where he kept hotel for several years. About three years ago he moved to Altoona where he has since resided, and for the last year or two was employed in the freight shops. About two weeks ago he was taken sick with a bilious attack, which finally turned to intermittent fever, and ended in his death. He was a member, in good standing, in the Emerald beneficial society, and was about 47 years of age. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his loss.
