KNEPLEY.

  Mrs. Elizabeth Knepley, who resided in the Maxwell apartments, died 
yesterday morning at 2 o'clock at the Altoona hospital, death being 
caused by a complication of diseases.  She was born in Tyrone on Jan. 
24, 1870, and has been a resident of this city for the past 30 years.  
Her husband, Samuel J. Knepley, died four months ago today from heart 
trouble and she is survived by two children, Sister Ermanilda of the 
Sisters of Charity of Greensburg, and Theresa at home.  She was a 
member of St. John's Catholic church.

FUNERAL NOTICES

  The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Knepley, will be held from the Stevens' 
Mortuary, with mass at St. John's Catholic church, at 9 o'clock on 
Thursday morning.  Friends may view the remains at any time at the 
Stevens' Mortuary.
