Knepley, a well known Pennsylvania Railroad company inspector, died suddenly at his home in the Milton apartments, Eleventh avenue and Seventeenth street, at 7:30 o'clock last evening, of heart disease. He was ready to start his duties at the East Altoona round house when he was taken ill and expired in a short time. Deceased was born in Altoona on January 19, 1867, and had resided here all his life. He had been employed by the railroad company for a number of years and at the time of his death held the position of an inspector. He was a member of the Temple Lutheran church, the Loyal Order of Moose, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the P.R.R. Relief association. He married thirty years ago and is survived by his wife and two daughters, Theresa, at home, and Sister Ermenelda, of the Sisters of Charity at Greensburg. He is also survived by one brother, William B. Knepley, and three sisters - Mrs. Rebecca Vaughn, Mrs. Frank McDonough and Mrs. Arthur Vaughn, of this city.
