KNISELY Of Claysburg RD died at 1:55 a.m. today, June 1, 1979, in Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, after an extended illness. Mr. Knisely retired as a dairy farmer and limestone producer in the Claysburg area in 1971, after 70 years' service. He was born Oct. 2, 1890, in Kimmel Township, Bedford County, the son of John W. and Marietta (Benton) Knisely, and was twice married, first on Sept. 14, 1913, in Queen, to Fannie I. Dodson, who died Jan. 30, 1949, then on Aug. 5, 1960, in Winchester, Va., to Martha Black Wyant. Surviving are his wife, seven children, Arthur L. of Osterburg RD, Mrs. Genevieve Ganzenhuber of Altoona, John of Imler, Harry E. of Imler RD and David E., Mrs. Helen F. Finnegan and Violet Finnegan of Claysburg RD; four step-children, George Wyant, Mrs. Marie VanCassel and Francis Wyant of York and Bruce Wyant of Detroit, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Mr. Knisely was a member of the Queen United Methodist Church and served as school director for Kimmel Township, Bedford County, for 32 years. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and noon to 2 p.m. Monday in the Marvin C. Leslie Funeral Home, Claysburg. KNISELY - Services for David B. Knisely of Claysburg RD will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Marvin C. Leslie Funeral Home, Claysburg, by the Rev. Clark Redmond. Interment following in Greenfield Cemetery, Imler RD. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and noon until time of services Monday in the funeral home.
