ROBERT KNOX

  At the home of his daughter, Mrs. George W. Yohn, North Second 
street, Bellwood, Robert Knox died at noon yesterday of hardening of 
the arteries.  Mr. Knox was a long time resident of Blairs Mills, 
Huntingdon county, where his wife died on December 24, 1922.  He was 
born February 10, 1844,  a son of John and Jane Knox, deceased.  Less 
than six weeks ago Mr. Knox came to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Yohn to 
make a visit.  Within ten days he was taken ill and passed away after 
four weeks illness.  Surviving are two sons and a daughter - Charles, 
of Newton Hamilton; Elmer, of Mt. Union; Mrs. Yohn, at whose home he 
died.  Two sisters are living - Mrs. John Phillips, of Reed's Gap; Mrs. 
Julia Stallman, of Shade Gap.  Funeral arrangements will be announced 
later.
