Kobak, 65, of Bald Eagle, RR3, Tyrone died Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 10:40 p.m. at Epworth Manor after a courageous battle with colon cancer. She was born May 28, 1942 in Northwood, a daughter of Josephus Domer and Dorothy Agnes (Miller) Naylor. She was formerly married to Ronald Kobak on February 23, 1963. Surviving is a daughter, Julie Brenneman and husband Jim of Warriors Mark, and 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Luke Brenneman. Mrs. Kobak retired in 2006 from the Epworth Manor housekeeping and laundry department following 15 years service. She was previously employed at Big Yank, Tyrone in the finishing department for 19 years. She had attended the Bald Eagle United Methodist Church. Doris enjoyed the outdoors and her dog Magic. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Michelle Somerville officiating. Interment will follow at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the Bald Eagle United Methodist Church, RD3, Tyrone, Pa. 16686 or to Breaking Bread Ministries, c/o Church of the Good Shepherd, 1650 Clay Ave., Tyrone, Pa. 16686.
