KOBAK Requiem mass will be said Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew Roman Catholic church for Martin Kobak, 1550 Pennsylvania avenue, who died Thursday afternoon in St. Raphael's Hospital, New Haven, Conn. Mr. Kobak, his wife and a son and daughter, had been visiting a daughter and son-in-law at West Haven, Conn., when he was taken ill. The mass will be in charge of the Rev. Patrick D. Harkins, rector of the church. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery. Friends will be received at the home, after 7 p.m. today. He was born Oct. 24, 1880, in Austria, the son of George and Helen Kobak. On July 30, 1905, he married Susan Shubert, at Tyrone. He had been a resident of Tyrone for 55 years and was a retired employee of the Tyrone plant of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper company. He was a member of the St. Matthew church and of the Croatian Fraternal Union. He is survived by his wife, and the following daughters and son: Mrs. Edward Walsh, West Haven, Conn.; Mrs. Kathryn Creppage, New Castle; Mrs. Charles Waskevich, Branford, Conn.; Mrs. Frances Dahlquist, Bradford, Conn.; Mrs. David W. Denny, New Castle; Mrs. Raymond M. Denny, Tyrone; and Thomas and Theresa, at home. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., September 4, 1954
