"Law" Kobuck, Sr., 74, of 329 W. 23rd St., Tyrone, died Monday, October 30, 2006 at his residence. He was born February 19, 1932 in Tyrone, a son of the late John J. and Jennie A. (Lewis) Kobuck, Sr. He was formerly married to Virginia Perrine who survives in Va. He is survived by a daughter Sandra J. Pentland of Portage and a son Lawrence L. Kobuck, Jr. and his wife Traci of Tyrone. Also, seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, one sister and five brothers: Catherine J. Diehl and John J. Kobuck, Jr. of RD Tyrone, Robert E. Kobuck of Tyrone, Martin J. Kobuck of Moore, Oklahoma, Richard M. Kobuck of Delmont and Terry L. Kobuck of Warriors Mark. He was a graduate of Tyrone High School in 1951 and was a life member of the Hookies Fire Co., American Legion No. 281 and the Tyrone B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 212. He was a member of the Sportsview Hunting Camp and a US Army veteran serving as a Cpl. during the Korean Conflict. He always enjoyed hunting and fishing. He retired in 1994 as a machinist from Chicago Rivet and Machine Co. after 38 years service. Funeral services and flag presentation will be held Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Pastor Jeff Miley officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery, Snyder Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, November 1, 2006
