MRS. M. E. KOONS.

  Following an illness from a complication of diseases, Mrs. Mary 
Elizabeth Koons died at 5:25 o'clock last night at her home in 
Northwood.  She was the widow of the late John Koons and was born March 
4, 1858.  Her husband died about seven years ago.  She is survived by 
two adopted daughters and one sister.  Funeral services will be held at 
the late home at 10 o'clock Friday morning after which the body will be 
taken to the Church of the Brethren on Columbia avenue where regular 
services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. W. M. 
Ulrich, interment in Grand View cemetery.
