Kough, 78, of Eyer Station Lane, Tyrone died Sunday, October 1, 2006 at his residence. He was born January 30, 1928 in Altoona, a son of Alvin and Mary (Burket) Kough. On December 14, 1953 at the Columbia Ave. Methodist Church, Tyrone he married Joan Marie Brisbin. Surviving are his wife; three daughters: Kathleen Marie Plocinik and husband Daniel Mark of Baltimore, Maryland, Eileen Carol Mitchell and husband John H. of State College, Joleen Lynn Armandroff and husband Greg of Brooklyn, New York and six grandchildren: Michelle, Duane, Kamille and Anna Plocinik and John and Paul Mitchell. Mr. Kough retired in 1985 from the Altoona Post Office as a window clerk following 33 years service. He had served as a Railway Mail Clerk for many years. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone and had bowled in the senior citizen's and church leagues at Splinter's Lanes, Altoona. He was a 1945 graduate of Altoona High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving as a private with Company A 503rd Military Police Battalion with service in Italy during the Occupation. Paul enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Interment with veteran's honors will follow at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
