MRS. ROSINA KROUSE

Widow of the late George Krouse, died this morning at 8 o'clock at the 
family residence, 135 Washington avenue, of the result of a stoke of 
apoplexy.  She was born in Germany, Oct. 12, 1837.  She came to America 
at an early age and has resided in Altoona almost half a century.  She 
was a member of Christ Reformed church and was an ardent Christian. 
Her husband died eighteen years ago.  She is survived by five children: 
Mrs. Mary Demaree of Panama, Mrs. Rose Barnes, Miss Emma and Miss Julia 
of Pittsburgh, and Louis Krouse of 139 Washington avenue.  The funeral 
will be held at a late date from the home of the son, Louis.  She was a 
daughter of the late Michael and Magdaline Fueruzler of Germany.
