Kuhn Of 1315 Washington Ave, a retired Pennsylvania Railroad employee died from a complication of diseases at his home last night at 10:45. He had been ill for 3 months. Mr. Kuhn was born in Logan Twp., Aug 14, 1850, the son of Samuel and Lavinia Kuhn, both deceased and spent 47 years with the P.R.R., most of which time he was employed in the passenger car shop at 4th street. He served as a yard brakeman for several years prior to going into the shop. His retirement came in 1919. Mr. Kuhn was a member of the First Lutheran church all his life and was a member of the Mountain Lodge No. 281 and Mountain Chapter No. 189, F. & A. M., Mountain Commandery No. 10, Knights Templar Logan Lodge of Knights of Pythias and the P.R.R. Floral association. He was married December 31, 1875 to Anna M. Buck, who with the following children survive: Harold C. Kuhn, Mrs. George A. Wahl, Mrs. Milton H. G. Cassidy, and Mrs. Clarence M. David, all of this city and Mrs. John E. Leslie of Sproul. Three brothers and one sister survive as follows: Samuel A. Kuhn of Hollidaysburg, Landis, Howard, and Mrs. Harriet Mills, all of Altoona. The funeral services will be held at the home on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge Rev. S. J. Taylor. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
