Peter Kurtz died on Monday afternoon, November 6, after a lingering illness, aged about 62 years. Mr. Kurtz was a Christian gentleman and a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Roaring Spring. He was good-natured and kind-hearted and was beloved by everybody with whom he came in contact. He leaves a widow, one daughter, Mrs. A. S. Snowberger, and two sons, Andrew Kurtz, of Pittsburg, and Harry Kurtz, of this place, who will feel the loss of a kind husband and parent. Morning Tribune, Tuesday, November 7, 1899 ROARING SPRING RIPPLES The funeral of Peter Kurtz will occur on Thursday at 10 o'clock a.m. from his late residence. Rev. E. H.
