Kustaborder, 401 North 4th st., Bellwood, died unexpectedly at 6 a.m., Jan. 6, at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. Kustaborder was a painter by trade. He was born Jan. 31, 1915, in Bellwood, a son of George and Mary E. (Smith) Kustaborder, and married Flora M. Parks. Surviving are his wife, three children: William D. Jr. of Altoona; Miss Evelyn, Bellwood, and Dwight, Claysburg; six grandchildren, and seven brothers and sisters. George and Mrs. Della Musto of Altoona; John of State College; Mrs. Eva McGregor of Amberson, Mrs. Doris Morrow of Bellwood, Mrs. Caroline Yingling of Port Ritchey, Fla., and Mrs. Alma Himes, Lewistown. Kustaborder was an army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theater in the 724th Bombardment Squadron. Service will be held in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Elmer Hosband. Interment in the Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. Friends will be received in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Juniata, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 8, 1974
