Philip Labico Succumbs to Scalds Received in Accident Monday. As the result of scalds received on Monday, Philip Labico, aged 2, son of Bardino Labico, of 1313 Ninth avenue, died at the Altoona hospital at 6 o'clock yesterday morning. The child fell into a tub of hot water placed on the floor while the woman in charge went to answer a knock at the door of the home. It was seen on admittance that the burns were of a serious nature and little hope was entertained for its recovery. The father returned to the city yesterday from Blandburg, where he has been employed. The funeral will be held from the funeral parlors of Undertaker Otto Gilden tomorrow morning. Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday Morning, December 8, 1916
