He was born on February 22, 1844, and was retired from the service of the P.R.R. as watchman. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and the P.R.R. relief. Six children survive, in addition to one brother, Frank, of Virginia. They are Mrs. Elizabeth Bensel, of Gallitzin; Mrs. Laura Kuntzman, of Portage; Robert, Edward, Dick and Charles, of this city. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Friday, January 17, 1919, page 10 FUNERAL NOTICE.
