ELIZABETH J. "BETTY" LAIRD 

  Mrs. Elizabeth J. "Betty" Laird, age 89, formerly of 1300 Hamilton 
Ave., Tyrone and a guest at Epworth Manor, died Tuesday, June 29, 2004 
at 5:15 a.m. at Tyrone Hospital. 
  She was born August 14, 1914 in Tyrone, the daughter of Andrew L. and 
Lulu Kerlin Keys. On August 11, 1944 she was married to Earl R. Laird 
who preceded her in death April 22, 1999. She is survived by two 
sisters and a brother - Gaynell, wife of Mike Walker of Hagerstown, MD; 
Esther Goss of Bellwood and Edgar Keys, a guest at Epworth Manor.
  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She retired from 
Westvaco Co.
  Funeral service for Mrs. Laird will be held at the convenience of the 
family with Pastor Paul Sweitzer officiating. Interment will follow at 
Blair Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of the 
Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc.
