He was born March 27, 1926 in Union Furnace, a son of Antonio and Marian (Miles) Lalli. On April 14, 1951, in Tyrone, he married Lucy A. Iavasile. She died March 19, 2003. Surviving is a daughter, Deborah Friday and husband Ben, of Tyrone, two sons, Terry and wife Sharon, of Tyrone, Jay and wife, Annette, of Palmyra, six grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, three sisters, Thelma Gill and Josephine Whitsell, both of Huntingdon, Betty Gardner of Petersburg and a brother Joseph, of Huntingdon. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Kenneth, and a sister Delores. Mr. Lalli retired in 1990 from Westvaco, Tyrone as head fireman of the boiler house following 13 years service. He was previously employed at Tyrone Milling, Alcoa, and also was a truck driver for many years. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, the Tyrone Elks, was a life member of the Tyrone Fire Police and the Tyrone Hookies and was financial officer of the Sons of the American Legion, Post No. 281. He also had been a former member of the Tyrone Borough Council. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Feller Memorial Home with Father Joseph T. Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 10 a.m., until the time of service.
