All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Daniel Lambright, One of Tyrone's eldest settlers, died at 7 o'clock, Saturday morning, of paralysis. He was the son of Rev. John Lambright, a Lutheran minister, and was born in Somerset county, Pa., October 18, 1811. He lived in Ohio and in Martinsburg, this county, when a boy, and learned the trade of a painter in the latter place. He was married in Claysburg in 1833. Afterwards he lived in Kittanning, Freeport, Spruce Creek and Ironsville, locating in Tyrone in 1851. He is survived by one son, Johnston Lambright, of Williamsport. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John D. Stewart yesterday afternoon. Interment in the Tyrone cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Monday Evening, May 15, 1893
