H. Lampe, died at the home of her parents, 811 Sixth avenue, at 2:55 o'clock this morning of peritonitis, aged 12 years, 4 months and 1 day. Deceased was of a robust constitution and was entirely well until Saturday evening, when she started over to her father's store on Eleventh avenue. When she arrived at the store she was taken with a severe pain and became very sick. She was taken home in a cab and medical aid summoned, but the physicians were unable to give her any relief and she gradually grew weaker till the time stated, when she quietly passed away. Miss Mary was well known and admired by a large circle of young people throughout the city. She was a popular member of the Second Lutheran Sunday school and was an interested Christian worker in the Sunday school and Christian Endeavor. She attended school at room No. 10, Penn building. Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers, Russell and Charles, and two sisters, Grace and Emily.
