MICHAEL LANDIS.

  Michael Landis, one of the oldest citizens of Cumberland county, Pa., 
died on Tuesday, March 25, at the home of his son, Michael A. Landis, 
at Boiling Spring.  He was born on July 8, 1820, being 98 years, 8 
months and 17 days.  He was the father of George M. Landis, and 
grandfather of Mrs. R. B. McCune, of 1533 Ninth street, this city.
