MRS. SARAH LANG

Died on Saturday evening at 9:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. O. J. Evans of 306 Beech avenue, death being caused by a 
complication of diseases after an illness of three months.  She was 
born near Duncansville and was aged 77 years.  She spent almost her 
entire life in this city, residing with Mrs. Evans for the past twelve 
years.  She was twice married, both husbands preceding her to the 
grave.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian church in this city. 
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bert Nicoli, East Pittsburgh and Mrs. 
O. J. Evans at whose home she died. She is also survived by three 
brothers:  Michael Poet, of this city, Adam Poet, of Coalport, and 
Samuel Poet, Akron, O.  The funeral services will be at 2 o'clock 
tomorrow afternoon from the daughter's home at 306 Beech avenue. 
Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
