The remains of Isaac Lantz, mention of whose death was made yesterday, arrived in this city from Seattle, Washington today, at noon and was taken to the old Lantz homestead at Burket's station. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 9.30 o'clock, funeral services to be conducted at the home by Rev. George M. Hoke, pastor of the Simpson Methodist church; interment in Hutchinson's cemetery. Post 62's firing squad will be present, by request, and the "Heroes of War" burial service will be observed. Mr. Lantz was a son of John and Catharine Lantz and was born in September, 1840. He served throughout the war as a member of the military construction corps. He had recently been a resident of Seattle, Washington. His death occurred on Thursday, October 10, at 5 a.m., of rheumatism. The deceased has a large number of friends in this city.
