Lantz, residing near El Dorado Station, this county, occurred at Donnelly's Lock, on the canal between this place and Williamsburg, on Thursday last. It appears that he was working in a shed, erected for the use of the carpenters, the roof of which, from some cause or other, fell in upon him, injuring him so severely about the head as to cause his death in a few hours. He was a most exemplary young man, and the only son of fond and loving parents, who have the warmest sympathies of the community in their affliction.
