About 6 o'clock on Wednesday evening William Larkins was instantly killed in the Lloydsville mines. He was preparing a shot, and while thus engaged the roof gave way and fell on him, breaking his neck, back and legs. He was about 50 years of age, and leaves four children to mourn their loss.
