CHARLES E. LASHER JR.

  Charles E. Lasher, Jr., 61, of 709 Grand Ave., Racine, Wis., 
formerly of Altoona, died unexpectedly earlier this month in Racine, 
following an apparent heart attack.  He was born June 6, 1934, the son 
of Charles E. and Effie M. (Barklay) Lasher.  Mr. Lasher retired from 
Young Radiator, Racine, in 1991.  He was a graduate of Altoona High 
School and an Air Force veteran.  Surviving are three nephews: Jeff 
Hatch, John Hatch and Greg Hatch, all of Altoona; and two nieces: 
Sharon Horton of Altoona and Vickie Appleman of East Freedom. 
Internment was made in Altoona.  Arrangements by Kasuboski, Austin & 
Haas Funeral Home, Racine.
