LASHER, A retired P.R.R. conductor of 524 Second Avenue, died Saturday at 12:30 o'clock noon, after an illness of six days. Mr. Lasher retired April 7, 1935, after fifty-one years and three months' service, being a conductor for the past thirty-five years. He was born April 21, 1867, in Altoona, the son of Peter and Kathaleen Lasher. Surviving are his wife, Minerva (Dibert) Lasher; seven sons and three daughters; Elmer E., at home; D. J., G. P., D. K., and James P. Lasher, all of Altoona; Private First Class Robert Lasher, somewhere in the south Pacific; Corporal Leroy (Jack) Lasher, Camp Atterbury, Ind.; Mrs. Arminta May Eisenhauer of Lebanon; Mrs. Margaret E. Hatch, and Mrs. Thelma D. Daugherty of Altoona; a grandson Private First Class David E. Lasher of Amarillo air field, Texas, who was raised in the Lasher home, and nineteen other grandchildren. He was a member of the B. of R. T. No. 174, and the Retired Men's association No. 4. Friends are being received at the home.
