Killed Himself

  James Lasonock, an Italian, aged about 49 years, was instantly killed 
Thursday morning at the east end of the Gallitzin tunnel by being 
struck by a train.  The unfortunate man was walking along the tracks 
and evidently did not hear the approach of the train, extra freight, 
No. 1430, which shot out of the tunnel and ran him down before he had a 
chance to escape.  The body was badly mutilated and was taken to 
Altoona for burial.
