Mrs. Josephine Laubacher died yesterday morning at 1.45 o'clock at her home, 1436 Twelfth avenue. She had been ill for the past five months suffering from a complication of diseases. She was the widow of Martin Laubacher and was the daughter of Augustine and Teresa Flaugh, both deceased, and was born in Baden, Germany. She came to this country with her parents in her youth. Her husband preceded her to the grave some years ago. Surviving are the following children: Charles C. of 408 Seventh street, Mrs. F. E. Barnes of Detroit, Mich., John A., Edward and Rose M., at home; also three grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Matilda Stevens, Mrs. Christ Wise and William G. Flaugh. She was a consistent member of St. John's pro- cathedral; she was also affiliated with the Altar society, the Sacred Heart league and the Woman's guild. She was a loving mother and a highly esteemed Christian and charitable woman. Altoona Times, Wednesday Morning, October 2, 1918
