Laufer Of 100 North Pine street, South Lakemont, died at 6:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the Mercy Hospital. She was born on Jan. 10, 1868, in Frankstown township, a daughter of Jacob and Mary Wertz, and in 1889 was united in marriage with Valentine S. Laufer, who preceded her in death. Surviving are five daughters and one son, Mrs. Hester McColf of Delaware, Md., Mrs. Eva Bickel and Dewey Laufer of the city, Mrs. Maude Johnston of Butler, Mrs. Jeanette Nash of South Lakemont and Mrs. Mary Neely of Huntingdon; twenty grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Laura Stahl of the city, Mrs. Maude Keller, Mrs. Bertha Miller, J. W. and B. A. Wertz, all of Duncansville, C. B. and Maxwell W. Wertz of Eldorado and Mrs. Eva Merrits of Revloc. Mrs. Laufer was a member of the Lakemont Church of God where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, following brief services at 2 o'clock at the home.
