Joseph Law, of Portsmouth, Ohio, died at his residence in that place Wednesday last, from an attack of the grip, in his 43d year. Deceased was a brother of Mrs. Daniel Price and Frank P. Law, of this city, both of whom left on Wednesday night to attend the funeral, which took place yesterday afternoon. Mr. Law was a soldier in the late war, having served in company E, One Hundred and Fortieth regiment, and at the time of his death was a prominent member of the Grand Army of the Republic.
