ALICE LAWLER Mrs. Alice Lawler died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, of pleuro- pneumonia at her home at Valla, near Philadelphia, after a short illness. The deceased was the daughter of John and Sarah Hartsock, of Hillcrest, Hollidaysburg, and was aged 35 years. She was married at St. Mary's church, Hollidaysburg, twelve years ago to Patrick J. Lawler, who was at that time superintendent for Contractors Riley and Webber in the construction of the East Hollidaysburg freight classification yards. Mrs. Lawler was organist for a number of years at St. Mary's church and was a good Christian woman, excellent wife and mother, whose untimely death will be greatly mourned by many friends. She was a consistent member of the Catholic church at Valla. She is survived by her husband, a prominent contractor, and these children: Mary, Alice, Rose, Margaret, Eileen and John, all at home; also by her parents and these brothers and sisters: John and Thomas Hartsock, of Altoona; Mary, who resided with the deceased; Eileen, of Hollidaysburg, and Mrs. Rose Kibler, of Tyrone.
