He was born in Gettysburg, Jan. 7, 1874, a son of Adam and Anna (Pennsyl) Lake, and was a retired employe of the Juniata erecting and machine shop. Surviving are his wife, Carrie, one son, Robert, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Crissa Houseman and Mrs. Levi Rigler, both of Altoona. A son, William, preceded him in death. Mr. Leake was a member of the Mt. Olivet Lutheran church. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. LEAKE - Funeral services for William Adam Leake of Sinking valley will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon by Rev. W. G. Rappold and Rev. Ralph Lind. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
