Leblanc, 74, of Tipton, PA, died Wednesday at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. He was born at Fisher's Island, N.Y., the son of Charles and Anna J. (LeBlanc) Leblanc. He was married June 21, 1952 at Fitchburg, MA, to Claire L. LeBlanc. He was in Tyrone since 1972. He is survived by his wife at Valley View Home, Altoona and a son, John Charles LeBlanc of Niagara Falls, NY. He is also survived by one grandson, Joshua LeBlanc of Lebanon, one great grand daughter and a sister-in-law Joan Johns and her husband Charles of Leominster, MA. He was a member of St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church where he served as organist for 18 years. He was a graduate of St. Bernard High School in Pittsburgh, PA and a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston with a B.S. Degree in Church Music and a Masters Degree in French and Music. He taught at the Franklin Pierce Jr. College at Fitchburg, MA, then at St. Mary's of the Mountain at Littleton, NH and then at Grier School at Birmingham, PA where he taught French and music for about 15 years and started the Children's Theatre Program. He was always kept busy playing the organ for weddings and various churches through-out the area. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June, 10, 2005 at St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg, MA and interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburgh, MA.
