AUGUST JAY LE GAND 

Died at his home near Duncansville at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning 
of a stroke of paralysis.  He was aged 52 years and 18 days.  Surviving 
are his wife and the following children: Charles E. Le Gand of this 
city, August J., Jerome B., Ralph N. and Francis M., all at home.  The 
funeral will be held with requiem mass at St. Patrick's Catholic church 
at Newry tomorrow morning at 10 0'clock.  Interment will be made in the 
church cemetery.
