Lehle, son of George Lehle of 218 Crawford avenue, died of pneumonia in France on Nov. 22, according to official notification received by his father from the war department yesterday afternoon. The young man was identified with the army transport corps and probably died at a base hospital. The message stated that he died of bronchial pneumonia. He had written to his father on the day before the armistice was signed and he was well at that time. Before entering the service he was employed as an apprentice in the railroad machine shops and was inducted into the service by No. 2 draft board on last April, going aboard several months later. He was born in this city Aug. 22, 1896, and is survived by his father and a sister, Miss Mary, at home. His mother and a sister preceded him to the grave.
