CHARLES DAVID LEIDY

Of 1123 Fourth avenue, Juniata, died at 5 o'clock this morning at the 
family home.  He was born in Altoona on May 23, 1877, a son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Edward Leidy.  He was twice married, being survived by his second 
wife, Mrs. Lettie Leidy.  Surviving to the first union are the 
following children: Mrs. Catharine Moser, Mrs. Charles Weamer and John 
Leidy, all of Altoona, and Charles Leidy of Apollo, and to the second 
wife, David R. and Paul B. Leidy, both at home.  One sister, Mrs. Annie 
Reager of Johnstown, also survives. Mr. Leidy was a Catholic by faith.  
He was employed as a brakeman in the Altoona yards for some years. 
Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home after noon 
Wednesday. 
 
LEIDY - The funeral of Charles David Leidy of 1123 Fourth avenue, 
Juniata, will be held with requiem mass at the Holy Rosary Catholic 
church at 9 o'clock Thursday morning.  Interment will follow in Calvary 
cemetery. Friends are being received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home.
