All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ LEIDY Mrs. Emma Jane Leidy, wife of Calvin Leidy, died yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the family home, 1409 Twenty third street of heart trouble after an illness dated since June. She was born in Altoona on March 23, 1884, and was married in this city on Sept. 18, 1901. Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Anna DeArment, who made her home with her daughter, her husband and ten children, as follows: Mrs. Helen Shaffer, of 2028 Thirteenth avenue, Melvin, Meryl, Edgar, Richard, George, Paul LaRue, Vera and Hazel, all at home. Also by one brother, William McK. DeArment, who is now in France. The funeral will be private on Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the residence. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
