CHARLES EDWARD LEIGHTY

Of Allegheny street, Newry, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the 
Altoona hospital at 3.20 o'clock yesterday afternoon of a heart attack. 
He was born March 3, 1882, at Poplar run, the son of Henry and Annie 
(Stiffler) Leighty. Surviving are one brother and two sisters, Wilbur 
Leighty and Mrs. Martha Shaw, both of Newry, and Mrs. Nettie Gill of 
Duncansville. Mr. Leighty was a member of the Newry Lutheran church. 
Friends will be received at Creamer, VanAllman & Plank funeral home, 
Hollidaysburg, after 7 o'clock this evening.
