DAVID A. LEIGHTY

Of Newry, died at his home at 5:30 p.m. yesterday, his birthday 
anniversary, after an extended illness.  He was born on May 6, 1876, in 
Juniata Twp., a son of David and Catherine Leighty, and married Maud 
Glunt who died in November 1950.  Surviving are a brother and sister, 
Lloyd and Mrs. Ella Weaver of Newry. He was a member of the Newry 
Lutheran Church and retired as a farmer in 1954. Friends will be 
received at the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, after 4 p.m. 
tomorrow.
