JEREMIAH LEIGHTY

A native of Poplar Run, Blair county, and son of Henry and Annie 
(Stiffler) Leighty, both deceased, died suddenly at his home in Ralls 
county, Missouri, on Wednesday morning, Nov. 5. He was born at Poplar 
Run on Sept. 8, 1874. His wife died several years ago. Surviving are 
these children: Glen E. Leighty of St. Louis, Mo., Roy Leighty of 
Tipton, Ia., and Viola Schanbacher of Hannibal, Mo.; also the following 
sisters and brothers: Mrs. Joseph Treml of Lilly, Boyd Leighty of 
Johnstown, Mrs. Nettie Gill, Mrs. Martha Shaw, Charles Leighty and 
Wilbur Leighty of Duncansville. One sister, Mrs. Nora Marble, is 
deceased. Funeral services were conducted and interment made on 
Saturday morning, Nov. 8, in Missouri.
