An aged and respected resident of this city and a veteran of the Civil war, died at the home of his son, David Leonard, Twenty-second avenue and First street, at 10 o'clock last night of diseases incident to old age. Deceased was born in this section of the state and was aged 77 years. He spent the greater part of his life in this vicinity and when the war broke out he enlisted and served his country in the Sixty- second Pennsylvania volunteers. He was a member of the Methodist church, and is survived by his wife and these children: David, Nathaniel, James and Mrs. Orvie Hall, all of this city. He is also survived by these brothers and sisters, David Leonard, Mrs. Emma Bryan and Mrs. Jane Kilbraith of Saxton; John of Everett; Alex. of Williamsburg; William of Springfield Mines; James of Hollidaysburg, and Mrs. Sarah Clemens of Cove station.
