Miss Sarah Levy of Northwood, near this place, died Monday night after a short illness following paralysis. She was a daughter of the late Fulbert and Susan Snyder and was born at Water street on Nov. 26, 1848. She has resided in this vicinity since 1848. On Sept. 5, 1872, she was united in marriage with Edwin H. Levy of Bucks county, Pa. He died in 1914. Surviving are these children: Edwin D. of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Joseph McMahon of Beaver Falls, Pa., Mrs. Chester Higes of Altoona, Mrs. Harry Robinson, Mrs. Annie M. Boyer, Howard W. and Charles F., all of Tyrone. She also leaves these brothers and sisters: Mrs. G. W. Jones and Elmer Snyder of Palm City, Florida, Mrs. Harry Miller of Van Scoyoc, Pa., Mrs. Matilda Kimberling of Sinking Valley, Mrs. David Snyder of Altoona, Samuel and George Snyder of Tyrone. She was a member of the First Lutheran church. Funeral services will be held in the First Lutheran church of Tyrone at 2.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, Rev. J. P. Miller officiating.
