Lewis, of this city, on last Friday night, while in a frenzied state, cut his throat with a butcher knife and died at 2 o'clock P.M. the following day. His remains were interred in Fair View Cemetery on last Sunday. Mr. Lewis was employed by the P.R.R. Co. in the capacity of a painter for some time back, and had but recently returned from Philadelphia where he went to have an operation performed on one of his eyes.
