JOHN LEWIS DEAD Our East Tyrone correspondent contributes the following: Thursday morning, at ten minutes before two o'clock, Emma Florence, wife of John Lewis, breathed her last. Mrs. Lewis was born Feb. 18, 1862 in the Woomer Settlement near Bald Eagle Station. She was therefore 30 years 1 month and 26 days old. She leaves a husband and three children: Oscar Ward, aged 4 years; Amber Ruth, 3 years; and Mabel Florence, 15 months; also her father, mother, five sisters and two brothers to mourn their loss. Mrs. Lewis has been a patient sufferer, having been unable to attend to her household duties for the last fifteen months, on account of that terrible disease consumption. During her life she was for many years a consistent member of the M. E. Church. The funeral procession left East Tyrone at 10 o'clock a.m. on Saturday for Bald Eagle, where the services were conducted in the M. E. Church by Rev. Wm. Brill. Interment in the Bald Eagle Cemetery.
