MRS. SARAH WOOMER LEWIS

Wife of William Lewis, died suddenly at her home, 2218 Adams avenue, 
Tyrone, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Mrs. Lewis had eaten her 
dinner and was sitting in the living room when she suddenly collapsed 
and passed away in a short time.  Deceased was born on Oct. 11, 1849, 
at Bald Eagle, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Ann Woomer.  On 
March 21, 1872, she was united in marriage with William Lewis at 
Tyrone.  The ceremony was performed by Squire Taylor.  She is survived 
by her husband and one son, Foster Lewis.  Mrs. Lewis had resided in 
Tyrone for the past forty-six years and was the oldest female member of 
the Columbia avenue Methodist church.

Funeral services for Mrs. William Lewis of 2218 Adams avenue, Tyrone, 
will be held at the home at 2.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.  Interment 
will be made in Bald Eagle cemetery.
