A Respected Citizen Passes Away at His Home. At 8 o'clock last evening, Mr. William H. Lias died at the residence of his son in-law, E. M. Clabaugh, 307 Sixth avenue. His illness was but of a few days' duration and was the result of a complication of diseases. The deceased was born at Warriorsmark, Huntingdon county, April 10, 1823. For many years he was a resident of this city and an employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad company. Beside the daughter at whose home he died, he leaves one other, Mrs. J. M. Marks, of 812 Sixth avenue. He was a member of the Lutheran church and also of the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief department. Funeral announcement will be made later. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday, July 21, 1899 LOCAL BREVITIES. The funeral of William H. Lias will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. E. M. Clabaugh, 307 Sixth avenue. The services will be in charge of Rev. O. C. Roth and T. S. Wilcox. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
