Paul James Light, who was killed in action in Italy May 23, 1944, was brought to Tyrone yesterday afternoon and burial will be made in Baughman cemetery tomorrow afternoon, with full military honors by the veterans' posts of Tyrone. Paul James Light was a son of Jesse and Love (Kennedy) Light and was born in Tyrone Aug. 31, 1921. He attended the Tyrone schools and later was employed on the Middle division of the Pennsylvania railroad. He enlisted in the army in Tyrone June 4, 1942, and was sent overseas in October of the same year, attached to the 13th armored division. He is survived by his parents and these brothers and sisters: Robert, Ray, Melvin, Billy and Charles Light, Mrs. Marion Hall and Miss Pauline Light, all of Tyrone. He was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren church, Tyrone. Friends will be received at the Glass funeral home, Tyrone, this evening from 7 to 10 o'clock.
