ROARING SPRING RIPPLES.

  Charles H. Lightner died at the home of J. P. Martin on Monday, 
February 26, 1900, aged 63 years.  Mr. Lightner was a sufferer from la 
grippe for some time past.  He was of a quiet and unassuming 
disposition.  He was a member of the Lutheran church of this place.  
His funeral occurs today.  His pastor, Rev. F. S. Delo, will preach the 
funeral discourse.
